“Berri : Life in a River Town” book

The Council have commissioned an experienced and well respected author, Mr Rob Linn to write a book about the history of Berri and surrounds.

After more than 2 years of hard work and the postponement of the original release date in December 2010,  the Berri : Life in a River Town book was delivered to the Berri Barmera Council on Monday 7th February.  It was officially launched at the Berri Town Hall on Wednesday 9th February 2011 and has been favourably received.

A total of  2,200 books were printed with 200 of these being a specially bound limited edition.  Prices have just been set for both versions of the book with ‘Berri : Life in a River Town’ hardcover edition selling for $49.95 and the ‘Berri : Life in a River Town’  special limited hardcover edition selling for $105.00.  The special limited edition has the title printed in gold leaf and an embossed picture on the cover as well being individually numbered and signed by the author.
